BB 13's Paras Chhabra Opens On Facing Depression, Anxiety And Stammering Issues During His Struggling Days; 'I Did Not Know How To Run The House Without Work'

Bigg Boss 13 brought fame and fame to Paras Chhabra. While he had been a part of a few television serials, Paras became a known face with his stint in the controversial show. He made a connection with Mahira Sharma and they became the IT couple of the TV industry. In his latest interview, Paras Chhabra has opened up on his struggling phase. He started his career in 2011 but he got his major breakthrough only in 2017. Amidst this, he dealt with anxiety issues, stammering issues and more.

To Etimes, Paras Chhabra described how there were years when he had no work at all. Later, his friend recommended that he take up photography to make money. Paras did that too and that's when he got an acting offer. Paras quoted, "From 2012 to 2016, I only faced criticism, rejections and a dominating attitude of people. I would get replaced at the end moment. I would keep asking myself why is this happening to me. I had a stammering problem, it still happens with me sometimes when I am too tired or I try speaking too fast. And till the time you are not an established name nobody wants to take a chance and cast you. Sometimes, I would get rejected because of my height I am 6ft 1 inch but because I am broad people would think I am short and I would get rejected. Even on screen I don’t look too tall. I would be very bad and also faced depression and had anxiety issues, as I did not know how to run the house without work. But when I went towards photography God brought me to acting."
